FREE TUTORING!

Tutor.com is a free on-line service through the Alachua County Public Library. It combines online tutoring, homework help, and test preparation with diagnostic tools and self-study resources to meet individual needs of all learners. Library card holders have access to live tutors daily from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Title I is the largest federally funded educational program. This program, authorized by Congress through the Elementary and Secondary Act of 1968, provides supplemental funds to school districts to assist schools with the highest student concentrations of poverty to meet school educational goals. Federal law requires that any school that has a poverty rate of 75% or higher must be served through the Title I program.

El Título I es el programa educativo más grande financiado por el gobierno federal. Este programa, autorizado por el Congreso a través de la Ley de Primaria y Secundaria de 1968, proporciona fondos suplementarios a los distritos escolares para ayudar a las escuelas con las mayores concentraciones de pobreza estudiantil para cumplir con los objetivos educativos de la escuela.
